Welcome to Soar Speech Pathology

Based in Footscray in Melbourne’s inner West, Carla from Soar Speech Pathology is passionate about making a difference in young lives.

Working together with the families, Carla aims to get the best out of children using child led, evidence based and holistic interventions.

Carla Mira

Carla has expertise in supporting the development of children’s communication, language, speech and social skills. With a Master's Degree in Education (Special Inclusion), Carla is also very passionate about ensuring children thrive in their preferred educational settings

Having completed extensive professional development,​ Carla uses Hanen®, Prompt® and SCERTS ® approaches, together with her post graduate training in developmental psychology and intensive interaction, to achieve the best outcomes for your child.

A mum to three, Carla is also heavily involved in the Intensive Interaction Approach. Along with one of the approaches founders, Dr. Mark Barber, & fellow Speechie Jamima White, she has developed a podcast called Talking without Words
